Or at least for the time being.

I spent the majority of the day painting my room in preparation for das move. My buddy Evan came over to assist me in the endeavor for which I am truly grateful. The entire process was just a bit overwhelming for my tired state of being to manage all by my lonesome.

All my stuff is now in the center of my room

As all my furniture is now stacked in the center of my room as the freshly applied layer of wet paint dries from the wall. Thus I’m bunking out the night in the li’lest brother’s room. As he, along with the majority of my family, is in California, I don’t think he’ll mind.

    I had thought the whole ordeal would take maybe half my day and not be as painful as it turned out. As it was Evan came by as he was hoping to have me help him find his mother a desktop computer. Which we finally managed to do. Yosh! Thanks for the willingness though! I know you would’ve if I had mentioned it.

    @Neemund:
    Sometime by the end of summer is the target time. We’ll see how this all unfolds.

    Hey! It doesn’t just stop there! I -also- have a mini-fridge, a toaster, and a full-sized sink. And a box full of edibles to sustain me for a little bit. The problem with that though is that I forget about it! And I’m working on fleshing out this awesome frame that I have~ Lard bagels*, here I come!

    *A vile substance that one of my coworkers designed to make people go up a clothing size or two. Essentially a bagel, smeared with lard on top in place of cream cheese, option of snickers bar, deep fried and then dipped into butter. He says it’s also a heart attack waiting to happen so he’ll prolly never get this venture going as the insurance would be too high.

    Are you moving far from home! Yay for painting. I guess it is the time of year to do it. My friends just painted their whole house, and now my Mom is on a painting spree here at home. :)

    Sounds delicious!

    I have one bedroom left that needs to have the rest of the wallpaper removed and then painted. You are all more than welcome to come over and do the work for me. I will give you food! :)

    Once that is done, I need to repaint the block walls in the basement. The last owner did not use the correct paint for this and now some is peeling. More food for anyone who wants to come do the work for me.

    Trebonte, I understand the “thinking and over thinking” of things. Usually makes me more tired than it is helpful in the end!!! Thanks for stopping by.

    Sounds like you have a tremendous Mom. Her schedule makes me tired. When she is finished with the degree, life will probably feel so sweet to her. It is worth effort when you have a goal and self direction.

    I bet your family is supportive of each other. That helps!!
