- The lil’ brother just showed…
The lil’ brother just showed me Spirit 1053 Edge. I am now in love. Spirit Edge is just awesome. Dedicated to Christian Rock music, it offers what I had hoped Spirit Vanilla would become way back in the day. The separation of the two however is for the best. As a side note: apparently Mars Hill plays a decent part in Edge.

Ha, Spirit Edge has been around for a while now, Justin. Get with the times! But I am rather annoyed that it is only on the internet. I would appreciate it being on radio, seeing as my options lower to regular Spirit, which I can’t really stand, and Kiss… which I like, but those who drive me with do not… I guess there’s always Talk Radio, but I’ve gotten so tired of them as of late. Always the same discussions, always the same rudeness.
Oh, and your obsession with Mars Hill is showing.

I knows… its the best! But HD radios are expensive, perhaps saving for one, or a new car in 20 years.
And whats wrong with Mars Hill? Sheesh, don’t be hatin’. =) <3

@Ana:
Well… I should’ve anticipated it… I did think it was rather odd that Spirit didn’t introduce something like Edge but I didn’t spend much time dwelling on it. Kiss is fine but 89.5 is the way to go! Techno all the way!
Perhaps I should tone down my obsession with Mars Hill a little. But I can’t quite do it. I am really glad that I was reintroduced to Mars Hill. Not to diminish the role of other churches but Mars Hill has been exactly what I need for my own personal development during this stage in my life. And I’ve fallen in love with their passion and vision. I could go on and on talking about Mars Hill.
But I would like to emphasis the point that Mars Hill is but one church and isn’t the entirety of the church body global. To praise one church at the expense of the others is foolish. All belong to the same body, all submit to the same Head.

Kiss is far too much pop and hiphop, not enough rock. If my iPod is out of batteries or left at home, generally I listen to 107.7 (though that’s a bit too emo and punkish), 99.9, 98.1, 96.5 (Jack FM, pretty much good to listen to all the time), and sometimes 89.5 (though that’s gone downhill as far as techno goes. Used to be good…) And though I do like streaming radio, I find it distracts me from my studying, and when I’m not studying I usually just do iTunes. Spirit waited way too long to do something like this… Makes me sad.
