- Random Acts Of Kindness
As I was doing some cleaning, a customer came up to our register to get rung up. Being more than happy to oblige, I went over to do so. She was purchasing one of our hot soups but her container was empty which was rather odd as typically customers fill up their soup first before purchasing. But it was a rather odd day so I didn’t really think much of it. However after buying it she asked me to do her a favor.
Apparently there was an old man sitting by the windows who had been staring at the soup rather mournfully and, though tried a sample, he didn’t take any to purchase. He was rather thin and scruffy and looked as if he hadn’t eaten for a while.
The lady’s request was for me to take it to him so she could anonymously help him out. He was very pleased and just wolfed down his soup. It is wonderful to see that people are still willing to help strangers out.
- A rather tricky puzzle game with the premise of you being stuck in a room and trying to escape. I rather like the guest escape genre. (3)

- A Busy Holiday
This holiday has been rather busy and hectic for me. I thought I would have much more free time once the school quarter ended but somehow all these events started filling up my schedule. Not that I’m complaining. I’m rather fortunate to be able to meet together with friends and family and share such wonderful times. Once school resumes I’ll have to fight back the drudgery of the work/school routine that’ll quickly sap my spirit. Though I am forming plans for events that’ll mix things up a little.
Day of the LAN
Last Friday me and the gang all got together to celebrate Zylo’s 18th birthday in our traditional manner: blowing each other into virtual fragments of their virtual self. Eleven of us all grabbed their computers and brought it over to a central location for the LAN party.
While somewhat of an effort to take down and reassemble our desktops, over the years I’ve pretty much gotten it down to a science. And since I upgraded to a LCD I pretty much halved the weight there. We played games of Team Fortress 2, Warcraft 3, and various other games through out the night.
- These two have a rather interesting way in acquiring the stuff they want. Basically they paint the stuff that they want and list it for the exact price that it goes for and then they use to the money to go out and purchase it. I should’ve thought of that! (0)
- "How do you do this over and over again?" Pretty much the same reaction in my household with the awesome Wii. Those sly dogs… (0)
