Today our landlady treated us to an all you can eat buffet at Shabu Shabu for lunch. It was very delicious. すごく おいし です よ~

Everyone fills up their plate with the vegetables of their choosing and throws it into the pot after it has heated up. The workers there bring trays of meat. Those get thrown into the pot as well and people just wait til it cooks up. Then dip it into the sauce of your liking and enjoy! I preferred the sesame oil over the sour sauce.

We most definitely ate our fill.

Apparently Shabu Shabu is merely the style of food that we had and not the actual store name. I had thought that originally but then people were referring to the actual store as Shabu Shabu so I guess I got confused.

Yeah, it’s like Chang’s except that instead of the chef cooking it for you, you cook it yourself.
