Early Friday morning (5am eek!) I got up and took my family along with my great aunt and uncle to the airport. Once again the Fischbeck Three Year Family Reunion has come upon us.

Unfortunately I need to work and attend an orientation meeting for UWB so my family went ahead of me leaving me all by my lonesome in this nice big scary house. However! this time my Dad bought me corn dogs, burritos, and cereal before leaving so I wouldn’t starve. He’s so nice~ Last time they left me for a week with not only an empty house but an empty fridge as well.

Having been woken up from my slumber earlier then traditional, I decided that it wasn’t worth taking a quick nap before I had to work my eight hour shift so I watched some episodes of The Office. The Office is insanely awesome by the way.

Unfortunately when I returned from my shift (10pm, evening shifts are annoying…), I found out that half my family wasn’t able to get a flight (we use standby as it’s much cheaper to fly that way) so instead of getting my decent night’s sleep as I had intended, I repeated my Friday morning trip on Saturday as well. After dropping them off, I met with Rabenstrange and his sister at their house to go climb Mt. Si.

Mt. Si was fun. It’s a four mile hike up switchbacks up to the top and we made it at a much better pace then last time I hiked it. The view was awesome. I wish I had the ability to take pictures of it but alas, I don’t have a camera yet and my family took their camera with them back east. I plan to acquire a camera for my personal use but I digress.

After returning back to our vehicle, I took my companions back to their house and I went back home to prepare for work. Working six hours after climbing Mt. Si really took it out of me… Towards the end my feet were dragging as I went from one side to the other. I am weak. *frown*

Sunday I went to church and ran a camera as is my traditional Sunday routine and went to work for eight hours afterward.

Yesterday (Mon) was kinda interesting. I was scheduled to work 10am to 6pm so I came in at 10. However after talking with evening crew when they came in, I took a two hour lunch so that I could stay later to help them through the dinner rushes and start the process of closing. The schedule was very poorly set for that day. If I hadn’t done that, they wouldn’t have been able to do anything as they were so horribly understaffed. I’m not one to leave people to the wolves.

Later I met with the officer team of my WoW guild to discuss the future. More to be said on that one.

And lastly today I read Bloodring: Faith Hunter (a poor excuse of a book lol) and then hanged out with Gerhalt and his brother.

And that’s what my week of being home alone has consisted of. Friday morning I’ll be flying out to New Jersey to meet up with my family and participate in the last three days (only two days really due to flight times) of the family reunion. That should be pretty fun.
