- And Another Year Passes
Today is my 19th birthday. Nineteen years I have walked on this earth and have seen and done many things.
I was slightly depressed. Nineteen years and what have I accomplished? But then I had some time to reflect and I am on the path that I want to be. I just need to persevere.
I had originally requested today off because I had wanted to do some stuff with my friends but alas, I couldn’t get it. So I came in at 2pm today and was sent over to the promotions stand all by my lonesome try to get people to sample our “wonderful rosemary pork loin” (which is really good by the way) for several hours. Then the deli crew surprised me with a box of cookies! Yay! The deli manager even bought me lunch which really surprised me. Though it can be stressful, I am really blessed to work with these people.
I left work a little early so I could get home to my family who decided to stay up for me. We had cake and opened presents. I got myself some nice clothing and Fall Out Boy’s new cd (much better then their old one imo). The elder of my two sister’s also got me a Relient K t-shirt which was really nice.

Happy belated BDay! Look to the future and make plans on what you want to accomplish. You can’t do anything about the past but you can certainly change the future and @ 19, you’re still young.

I know this is a bit belated but Happy Birthday!
19 years and what have you accomplished? You’ve avoided drugs, alcohol, smoking and romantic entanglements. You’ve graduated High school and earned multiple Associate degrees. You’ve memorized several books of the Bible. You’ve gotten a job and started to save money.
In short, you’ve spent 19 years in preparation to become the man God wants to use for the rest of your life.
